Our History

 Hello,

My husband  and I  have been around dogs our whole life. My husband has been an active game hunter since he was very little his dad would take him hunting in a pack on his back. My husband Josh has been hunting birds for longer then he can remember. With their black lab and wire haired pointer that is where his  love for not only the "Hunt" but for The Labrador Retriever breed started. He has always had  at least one Labrador in the house.

 I always grew up with dogs but not the Labrador breed. My families first dog was a Sheltie named Chelsie. Then we got a 66% Artic Wolf Husky cross. We learned a lot about training and dogs temperament. My family then started to breed Golden Retrievers when i was about 10 years old. I have been breeding, training and raising dogs ever since. I had Just decided I was going to stop breeding my mini Aussies When I met my Husband Josh.

About a year or so after we where married we had one "Mini lab" female and one baby girl. Josh said he wanted a lab, The labs I ever new where CRAZY! they would knock you down jump on your counters mount your kids! Lets just say I was not all excited about it  hahaha so I told him (not thinking he would take me seriously) we should just get a silver lab then! The next day after work we placed a deposit on our first Silver Labrador Grizz. The night we picked him up from the airport at 8 weeks he "Rolled" out of the create. He was SO cute and rollie I fell in LOVE with our new puppy Silver Grizz. 

Grizz or"Grizzlet" as my then 1 1/2 year old called him was our first lab together. He was a little stubborn but he was the sweetest dog ever. Always happy and LOVED the water. LOVED our little girls. He at 5 months pointed a Pheasant from between Joshes legs. He also pointed a dead duck. And retrieved multiple birds! At that point we decided we wanted to start breeding amazing Labradors. 

We strive as a breeder to breed well tempered easy to train hunting and companion dogs. Dogs the will hunt with you as long as you want or sit on the couch and watch TV. Obviously Training is a big part in it but a dog that is not going to knock every one down. We want our puppies to be, first and for most, your family pet and NOT just a hunting dog you have to keep locked up outside because it destroys your house.
